IT Support Technician | Contract-to-Hire | Brevard, NC
We're hiring on behalf of a growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) in Brevard, NC for a mid-level IT Support / Helpdesk / Desktop Support Technician. This is a long-term contract-to-hire opportunity with a minimum of two years of projected work and the potential for early direct hire conversion.
Schedule: This role starts at 3 days per week on-site during the initial ramp-up period, transitioning to 5 days per week on-site ongoing. Candidates must be local to or within a reasonable commute of Brevard, NC — this is the #1 requirement for this role.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Providing Tier 1/2 desktop, helpdesk, and end-user support in a primarily Windows environment
- Managing and resolving tickets within SLA guidelines
- Supporting Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and general productivity tools
- Assisting with basic networking, VPN, and firewall support
- Learning and working within standard MSP toolsets for ticketing, monitoring, and remote management
What We're Looking For:
- 3-5 years of IT support or helpdesk experience
- Strong Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 proficiency
- Solid communication and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple issues in a fast-paced environment
- MSP experience is a strong plus but not required — we will train the right person
- Must be local to Brevard, NC or able to reliably commute
