Role Summary

The Supply Chain Contract Administrator is a mid-level position responsible for managing and processing contractor-related contractual documents within the organization. This role involves reviewing, drafting, analyzing, and tracking engineering, procurement, construction, and pipeline contracts to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to company standards. The Contract Administrator serves as a key liaison for external and internal stakeholders, supporting legal, safety, and compliance requirements across contract lifecycle stages.

Responsibilities

  • Review, process, and analyze contractor documents including engineering, procurement, construction, and PO agreements to ensure contractual compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Draft contracts, amendments, and related correspondence, coordinating documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage contract routing, authorization, and filing—both physically and electronically—maintaining organized records.
  • Ensure all contractual terms are correctly captured within company systems and adhere to internal controls and standards, including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
  • Act as primary contact for external customers regarding contract issues and questions, providing timely responses and communication.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with legal, insurance, safety, audit, tax, and accounting teams to facilitate contract approvals and compliance checks.
  • Identify contractual risks and legal issues through diligent review of agreements and clauses.
  • Participate in special projects and ad-hoc reporting related to contract administration.
  • Exercise initiative and utilize knowledge of contractual language, clauses, and transaction implications to support process improvements.
  • Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail while managing multiple contract files and priorities.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a contract administrator, legal assistant, or in a related role creating and editing EPC or construction agreements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word (with Track Changes) and Excel (advanced functions), Adobe Acrobat, Workshare Compare, and DocuSign.
  • Skilled in proofreading, auditing, and ensuring document accuracy.
  • Strong understanding of contract terminology, procedures, and standards within the oil and gas industry preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholder levels.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • High School diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field preferred.
  • Effective interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor.
  • Flexible with changing priorities and committed to accuracy and compliance.


Publishing Pay Range: $51.00 – $54.00 hourly

This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
