Job Description

The Inventory Control will review all finished goods materials for cycle count accuracy, work with Shipping on new part launches to assist in accurately identify inventory locations and maintain inventory for the entire warehouse location(s) by performing the duties as listed below.

1. Responsible for a section of a building or department as well as the contents of that section or department to assure the accuracy of inventory for finished goods.

2. Examines and inspects articles in finished goods for defects and works with shipping staff to correct.

3. Perform daily cycle counts / setup of parts for cycle counts.

4. Organize materials in warehouse with updates into system for location of part inventory.

5. Organize and keep clean area of responsibility

6. Work with other departments on available inventories when parts are being processed for engineering changes.

7. Back up to receiving on freight and incoming shipments from other GDC facilities.

8. Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in a similar position
  • Forklift License
  • Strong mathematical skills; Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and Inventory software (i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; must be able to effectively interact with co-workers and customers
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed
  • Must be willing to work weekends as needed
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed is required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
