Responsibilities: Support scientific computing needs for DIR laboratories within NHLBI. Provide support for instrument controllers, high-performance computing, and laboratory instruments. Ensure consistent support and minimize turnover of support staff specializing in scientific equipment. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in IT, management, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in supporting scientific research environments and laboratory instruments. Preferred experience with high-performance computing and bioinformatics tools. Understanding of scientific computing hardware and software. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
