Mechanical Engineer – Commercial Nuclear
We are seeking Mechanical Engineers to support engineering activities at a Nuclear Generating Station, including plant systems, facility systems, equipment modifications, and capital and maintenance projects.
The ideal candidate will have commercial nuclear power experience and a strong background in mechanical engineering design, evaluations, and technical solutions. This role will support plant modifications, system reliability improvements, engineering analyses, and project execution while ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and nuclear safety requirements.
Required Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university
- Commercial nuclear power plant experience required
- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, design practices, and engineering methodologies
- Experience supporting plant modifications, engineering projects, or equipment/system improvements
- Preferred 6–10 years of Mechanical Engineering experience; candidates with relevant nuclear experience and less experience will be considered
- Experience with Standard Design Process ENG-001 is a plus
