What are the responsibilities and job description for the JIRA Administrator position at GCyber?
As the JIRA Administrator, you will:
- Analyze, document, and improve current functionality while researching and applying industry best practices.
- Administer applications and systems, including backups, scheduled jobs, and testing of new tool versions and plug-ins for compatibility.
- Manage and optimize JIRA projects, workflows, filters, dashboards, permissions, security, and integrations with external plug-ins.
- Oversee user permissions and access for JIRA, Confluence, and related tools to support project and team needs.
- Manage incident ticket data, reporting, and analytics while communicating and sharing knowledge across stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance and be eligible to obtain and maintain a CI Poly
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (i.e., CCNA Security, CySA , GICSP, GSEC, Security )
- BA/BS Degree and 4-8 years prior relevant experience; additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience working with the Atlassian product suite, with specific focus on JIRA as an administrator.
- Scripting experience (e.g. bash, python, perl) desired
