Job Title: Licensed Journeyman Plumber
Base: Shepherdsville, Kentucky

Reports To: Master Plumber
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Licensed Journeyman Plumber to join our team in Kentucky. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and/or industrial settings while ensuring compliance with Kentucky state plumbing codes and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including piping, fixtures, water heaters, and drainage systems, etc
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and building codes as needed
- Diagnose plumbing issues and provide effective solutions
- Ensure all work complies with Kentucky State Plumbing Code and local regulations
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections
- Cut, assemble, and install pipes using hand and power tools
- Test plumbing systems for leaks and proper function
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Communicate effectively with customers, contractors, and team members
- Document work performed, materials used, and time spent on jobs
- And other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Plumber License in the State of Kentucky
- High school diploma or GED required
- 3 years of service plumbing experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and safety practices
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Requirements
- Journeyman Plumbing License
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background check and/or drug screening (if required)
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Willingness to work in various environments (indoors, outdoors, confined spaces)
- Availability for overtime or emergency calls as needed
Preferred Skills
- Experience with both residential and commercial plumbing
- Knowledge of gas line systems (a plus)
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable with sales
