Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and drive process improvement projects for improved manufacturing processes.
- Create and maintain manufacturing documentation such as visual aids, work instructions and standard work procedures.
- Manage new product introductions between engineering, programming, production, quality, planning, and customer service teams.
- Communicate technical issues to customers.
- Audit manufacturing documentation, machine programs and time standards to ensure data accuracy, process repeatability, and product quality.
- Use CAD software to develop models or assemblies for in-process documentation.
- Analyze customer-provided model data using CAD software.
- Maintain part information, methods of manufacturing, and bill of materials in the ERP system.
- Analyze scrap and margin data in the ERP system.
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Experience with Cam software (Solid Works preferred).
- Manufacturing engineering background and strong problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with lean and six sigma methodologies and tools.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and G.D&T. (ASME Y14.5-2009 standard).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with a team.

Physical Requirements:
- Sitting: approximately 50% of the time.
- Standing: approximately 50% of the time.
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching, bending, squatting, and moving about the work area.
- Ability to wear required Personal Protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods.
- Ability to set up and operate necessary equipment.
Visual Requirements:
- Corrected vision close to 20/20 for effective use of computer screens and reading reports.
