| GCI's Engineer IV, Engineering & Architecture will work as part of a team, will work cross-functionally as required to develop, deploy, and maintain the products and services offered by the company. Interact with internal groups and external customers to ensure our products and services are performing as designed. Work within capital and operations budgets to ensure projects remain on scope and within budget. Follow company policy and department guidelines to support and successfully complete development and lifecycle maintenance of network plans, policies, and procedures following engineering/architecture design principles. | ||||

Additional Job Requirements: This is an advanced level position, requiring a high level of specific discipline expertise and the ability to make technical decisions independently on significant engineering problems. Required to have knowledge of other Engineering disciplines and complex company initiatives, crossing business units and projects involving multiple disciplines. Required to have advanced technical leadership. Evaluate manufacturers’ products, develop test plans, and advise projects. Maintain current discipline systems design standards and help maintain upgrades/modifications as required. Serve as an integral resource to facilitate the integration of work processes, physical plant, employees, and customers throughout the company. Responsible for producing standards documentation and development of long-range planning to support implementation of advanced services. Additional Competencies:
