Job Overview
We are a large golf car dealership that has an opening for a Service Technician. Applicant should have the minimum required tools to perform basic Technician duties and experience in repairing gas and electric vehicles. Basic duties would include:
-Maintaining golf cars as they come into the shop, such as oil changes, repairs, and tune-ups.
Troubleshoot problems and solve issue on Electric and Gas powered golf cars.
Installation of new accessories on sold golf cars such as radios, lights, mirrors, safety accessories, lift kits, tires, etc.
Work Area Organization
Cleanup work area every day and place all tools in proper storage areas.
High level of detail is needed as all cars are tested before being returned to our customers.
Time Management to complete car repairs within allotted time.
Must have your own tools
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on golf cars.
- Diagnose issues and identify necessary repairs.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with service manager and customers regarding service needs and recommendations.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used during repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency and effectiveness.
Experience
- Electric and gas car repair: 1 Year (Required)
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot golf cars.
- Proficiency in welding techniques is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with golf cars and repairs is advantageous.
