Slitter Operator
Bema, Incorporated a recognized leader in the flexible packaging industry is looking for an experienced Slitting Operator for Second Shift (4PM-2:30A) with a proven track record in supporting a fast-paced organization. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ability to set up and run slitter.
- Read work orders and follow instructions accurately.
- Conduct quality checks and ensuring high quality output of product.
- Meet production goals as related to run rates and waste.
- Ability to do basic math calculations.
- Communicate clearly both verbally and written.
- Basic mechanical skills.
- Meet and exceed set quality standards.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years’ experience
- Physically demanding position: long periods standing, bending, squatting, reaching and pulling. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Overtime
- Helps ensure all policies for the company and the American Institute of Baking (AIB) are followed.
