Role Description The Cargo Adjuster is a full-time role based in Houston, TX, responsible for investigating, evaluating, and resolving cargo-related claims in accordance with company and client standards. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing policy coverage, assessing loss details, coordinating inspections, and documenting findings in clear, comprehensive reports. The role involves frequent communication with clients, brokers, carriers, and other stakeholders to gather information, negotiate settlements, and ensure timely claim resolution. The Cargo Adjuster maintains accurate claim files, adheres to regulatory requirements and internal guidelines, and supports desk adjusting activities as needed. This position also contributes to continuous improvement by identifying trends, potential risk issues, and opportunities to enhance claims-handling processes.
