What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Manager position at GCC?

This individual is highly proficient with computer systems and software, including spreadsheets, word processing, databases, and Windows-based operating systems. They possess a thorough understanding of automated laboratory equipment or have demonstrated the ability to quickly master complex technical systems.
They are a hands-on leader who thrives in a collaborative environment, maintaining close coordination with production and process departments to ensure the delivery of cost-effective, high-quality clinker and cement products. With a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement, the ideal candidate takes full ownership of the Quality Control Department’s technical operations, including the implementation of Quality Management System activities.

Is responsible for the supervision of Quality control personnel and of all technical activities of the Quality Control Department (both chemically and physically) to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous operation of the plant manufacturing process. Maintains a close relationship with the production/process department to ensure the most cost-effective products (clinker & cement), at the established quality and uniformity targets. - Must have at least 5 years of previous supervisory experience or other responsible position.
- Must have thorough knowledge and understanding of automated laboratory equipment or have demonstrated the ability to learn all aspects of it.
