We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery on construction sites, ensuring that all tasks are completed safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of equipment operation, maintenance, and safety protocols.
Duties
- Operate heavy equipment including bulldozers, cranes, backhoes, and concrete mixers on construction sites.
- Manage the operation of water trucks and roll-off trucks to transport materials as needed.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other operators to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and any maintenance performed.
Skills
- Proficient in heavy equipment operation with experience in bulldozers, cranes, backhoes, concrete mixers, and water trucks.
- Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safe operation of tanker trucks.
- Strong understanding of construction site protocols and safety measures.
- Ability to perform basic maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns.
