Position Title: Site Superintendent

Position Summary:
Essential Job Functions:
Field Operations & Oversight:
- Manage daily on-site construction activities, ensuring alignment with construction documents, specifications, and overall project plans.
- Supervise multiple crews, subcontractors, and field staff to ensure work is performed safely, correctly, and efficiently.
- Oversee site logistics, including material deliveries, equipment coordination, and work sequencing.
- Serve as the on-site point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication, professionalism, and timely resolution of issues to maintain customer satisfaction and support long-term relationships.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as required to support organizational goals.
Scheduling & Coordination:
- Monitor project schedules, identify delays or bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to keep the project on track.
- Coordinate closely with Foremen, subcontractors, vendors, and project management to ensure smooth execution.
- Maintain and update short-term look-ahead schedules and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure all work is completed according to plans, specifications, and quality standards. Identify and address deficiencies early to prevent rework, reduce delays, and control costs.
- Monitor labor productivity, material usage, and subcontractor performance. Work closely with Project Management to ensure the project remains on schedule and within budget.
Safety & Quality Management:
- Enforce compliance with company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Conduct/Ensure daily safety briefings, job site inspections, and ensure use of proper PPE.
- Monitor and enforce quality control standards; proactively identify and correct deficiencies.
Communication & Reporting:
- Serve as the main field point of contact for project managers and upper leadership.
- Report on job site progress, field issues, inspections, and production milestones.
- Maintain accurate daily logs, timecards, incident reports, and related documentation.
- Recognize when work exceeds or differs from the original job bid. Document and communicate these scope changes to Project Management for proper review, approval, and billing.
- Maintain detailed records of all T&M (Time & Material) labor, materials, and equipment used. Ensure this information is submitted promptly to Project Management to support timely invoicing and cost recovery.
- Take ownership of turning in all extra work tickets, change orders, and T&M (Time & Material) logs accurately and on time. This ensures all billable work is properly tracked and accounted for by Project Management.
Problem Solving & Field Decision-Making:
- Identify and resolve conflicts, delays, or site-specific issues that arise during execution.
- Adapt field plans in response to weather, material shortages, or unforeseen conditions without compromising safety or quality.
Job Qualifications/Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in commercial, civil, or industrial construction, with 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, site safety, and crew coordination.
- Proven ability to manage multiple trades and site logistics on complex projects.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred or required.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred or ability to obtain.
- Proficiency in reading construction drawings and using field management tools is a plus.
- Must be physically able to stand, walk, sit, crouch, kneel, climb, and periodically lift 75 pounds
- Ability to obtain Arsenal & FBI Badge
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on all job sites as required
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
