What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Operator/Forklift Operator position at GC SUPPLY?
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and unload incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment following company standards
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Organize and maintain clean, orderly warehouse space
- Assist with stock replenishment and cycle counts
- Follow safety procedures and report any hazards or incidents immediately
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet productivity goals
- Load and unload delivery trucks as needed
- Label, scan, and track products using barcode scanners and other tracking tools
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs regularly
- Basic math and reading skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work overtime or different shifts as needed
