Role Description This is a full-time, on-site PLC Programmer role based in Little Rock, AR. The PLC Programmer will design, develop, and implement PLC programs for packaging automation systems, including creating control logic, HMI screens, and system documentation. Daily responsibilities include troubleshooting control systems, testing and commissioning equipment, and making adjustments to optimize performance and reliability. The role involves collaborating with engineering, production, and service teams to understand project requirements, ensure compliance with safety and industry standards, and support installations and upgrades. The PLC Programmer will also maintain version control of programs, assist with technical support, and recommend improvements to enhance system functionality and efficiency.

Qualifications
- Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting (e.g., Allen-Bradley/Rockwell, Siemens, or similar platforms).
- Skills in HMI/SCADA development, system integration, and configuration of industrial networks (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profibus, Modbus).
- Knowledge of industrial automation, control systems, and electrical schematics, including safety circuits and sensors.
- Ability to perform on-site testing, commissioning, and startup of automated equipment in an industrial environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on system reliability and safety.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and field service teams.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Willingness to work on-site in Little Rock, AR, and travel occasionally to customer locations as needed.
- Experience in packaging or industrial manufacturing environments is preferred but not required.
