We are seeking a Health Enrollment Advisor to support individuals during the peak enrollment season. This is a full-time position running now through February, with the possibility of returning in future enrollment seasons or transitioning into a permanent role. Position Summary
As a Health Enrollment Advisor, you will serve as a licensed professional and trusted resource for individuals seeking health coverage. You’ll guide clients through plan options, educate them on benefits, and support them through the enrollment process. This role is ideal for a motivated communicator with strong customer service skills and a passion for helping people.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for individuals seeking health coverage.
- Educate clients on health insurance plan options, pricing, and benefits to support confident decision-making.
- Guide clients step-by-step through the enrollment process, including documentation, application, and follow-up.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries via phone, email, and chat, resolving issues with professionalism.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of client communications, application status, and outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth and supportive enrollment experience.
- Stay up to date on marketplace health plan options and relevant regulatory updates.
- Contribute to team success in meeting enrollment season goals.
Qualifications
- Active health insurance license is preferred
- Prior experience in customer service, sales, or health insurance advising preferred.
- Strong knowledge of individual health insurance plans, including coverage options and pricing structures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics clearly.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-first, consultative approach.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort with new software, including enrollment platforms and CRMs.
Working Conditions & Essential Functions
· Work is performed in a quiet, climate-controlled office environment with ergonomically designed workspaces.
· Daily tasks involve computer work, data entry, phone and email communications, and team collaboration.
· Must be able to lift and move objects up to 10 lbs. and visually monitor information on a screen for extended periods.
· Occasional travel may be required for client events such as health fairs, presentations, or on-site support.
