We are looking for an experienced handyman/maintenance technician to join our team for the greater Boston area. Individual will be required to perform maintenance tasks that include, but are not limited to; general maintenance, carpentry, drywall, masonry, minor electrical and plumbing repairs, window, door and lock repairs, painting, cleaning, snow removal, landscaping, picking up and delivering supplies, etc...
All members of the team are in a weekly "on-call" rotation to deal with emergencies on evenings and weekends. This position reports to the Director of Maintenance on a daily basis. Applicants must be able to demonstrate a certain level of skill in these areas and be able to perform these tasks in a professional manner.
Qualifications:
· Property maintenance: 5 years (Preferred)
· Technical Skills: Proficient in general maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
· Interpersonal: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with residents, management, and contractors.
· Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose issues and determine appropriate solutions efficiently.
· Physical Requirements: Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing ladders, and performing tasks that require physical exertion.

8 hour shift

Requirements
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• A valid driver's license
• Your own set of tools (all basics for today’s work, nothing extravagant required)
• Smartphone
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Available to work 40 hours a week including nights and weekends when required
• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous employment references
• Due to on-call responsibilities, candidates must reside within a 30-minute commute of Boston.
