Position OverviewGBP Direct is seeking a creative and motivated Part-Time Marketing Coordinator to support our growing commercial furniture and office products business. This position will focus heavily on social media management, video content creation, branding, and marketing support for our sales team.
The ideal candidate is organized, creative, comfortable working independently, and capable of producing professional marketing content that represents the GBP brand across multiple platforms.
This role may require occasional local travel throughout the Greater New Orleans and surrounding regional areas to photograph completed projects, gather video content, attend installations, and support marketing initiatives.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Content Creation & Social Media- Create and manage content for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and other social media platforms
- Capture and edit photos/videos of completed furniture projects, installations, and workplace environments
- Develop short-form video content, reels, project highlights, and promotional material
- Schedule and monitor social media posts and engagement
- Film and edit marketing videos for social media, website content, and internal promotions
- Create branded video content showcasing products, installations, company services, and customer projects
- Maintain organized digital media libraries
- Design and distribute email campaigns promoting products, services, projects, and company updates
- Assist with customer newsletters and promotional campaigns
- Monitor campaign performance and engagement metrics
- Create sales support materials including flyers, brochures, presentations, direct mail pieces, and customer-facing marketing materials
- Assist with promotional campaigns for furniture, office supplies, and company services
- Support sales representatives with branded proposal and presentation materials
- Coordinate printed marketing materials and promotional items when needed
- Ensure brand consistency and compliance across all marketing platforms and materials
- Maintain consistent visual standards for GBP Direct marketing content
- Assist with website updates and marketing initiatives
- Coordinate with leadership, sales, and design teams on project promotions
- Occasional local travel for photography, video gathering, customer visits, trade events, and project documentation
- Experience in marketing, communications, content creation, or related field preferred
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing
- Experience with video editing software and graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, etc.)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Photography and videography experience preferred
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- B2B marketing experience
- Experience creating reels and short-form video content
- Basic understanding of branding and marketing strategy
- Familiarity with commercial interiors, office furniture, or construction-related industries is a plus
- Part-Time
