Cashier PT 16 hrs/wk 5p-7:30p

Under general supervision but according to established policies and procedures, operates a cash receipt system to record, collect, and distribute cash transactions. Performs a variety of bookkeeping duties and closes out cash register at end of scheduled shift.

Experience

Six months’ experience cashiering in order to be familiar with cash register functions

Skills

• Skill in basic financial analysis for bill computation, payment processing and discrepancy recognition
• Skill in written and oral communication
• Ability to perform non-complex arithmetic in receiving money and making change
• Ability to operate the cash office with minimal supervision or assistance.

Patient Population

• Demonstrates competency in the delivery of care and applies the knowledge to meet age-specific needs if applicable.
  
  

Pay Range

$17.24 - $23.91
