Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior AI/GenAI Engineer with strong enterprise-level experience to join a platform engineering team building reusable, scalable, AI-enabled business capabilities.

This is an AI-forward engineering role. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience using GenAI, AI agents, and AI-assisted development tools to solve complex enterprise problems and accelerate software engineering.

The team is building a reusable enterprise platform, not one-off solutions. Engineers will design capabilities that can be configured, reused, and integrated across multiple products, business units, and use cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise-grade AI/GenAI solutions that can be reused across multiple applications and business units.
• Use AI coding agents and GenAI tools throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Create and maintain AI rules, guardrails, policies, prompts, and context to ensure reliable and consistent AI output.
• Effectively direct AI agents by providing appropriate context, requirements, constraints, and technical guidance.
• Review, challenge, test, and validate AI-generated output for accuracy, security, performance, maintainability, and enterprise standards.
• Decompose complex product requirements into smaller, reusable business capabilities that can be independently developed, configured, and consumed.
• Identify opportunities to use AI to improve engineering productivity, automation, testing, analysis, debugging, documentation, and development workflows.
• Build and support AI-powered enterprise capabilities that are scalable, configurable, secure, observable, and maintainable.
• Work with enterprise ontology, entity-relationship, and domain models where required.
• Contribute to agentic AI and server-driven application patterns where applicable.
• Establish practices for evaluating and validating AI-generated solutions before they are deployed.
• Ensure AI solutions are based on verified information, testing, documentation, and evidence rather than assumptions.
• Collaborate with architects, product teams, and engineering teams to evolve enterprise AI capabilities.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong enterprise-level hands-on experience with AI/GenAI — Mandatory.
• Proven experience implementing GenAI solutions in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding agents / AI-assisted development tools.
• Experience using AI agents for coding, analysis, testing, debugging, documentation, refactoring, or automation.
• Strong experience creating or working with AI guardrails, rules, policies, prompts, context management, and governance.
• Ability to effectively direct and manage AI agents by providing context, constraints, requirements, and technical guidance.
• Strong ability to critically evaluate and validate AI-generated code and solutions.
• Experience identifying hallucinations, incorrect assumptions, security issues, performance problems, and other risks in AI-generated output.
• Demonstrated experience decomposing complex product features into smaller, reusable enterprise capabilities — Mandatory.
• Experience building reusable, configurable, plug-and-play enterprise capabilities.
• Strong understanding of enterprise software architecture, design patterns, security, scalability, governance, and maintainability.
• Experience with automated testing and AI-assisted testing approaches.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an evidence-driven approach.
• Ability to distinguish between verified facts/results, assumptions, and proposed solutions.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Agentic AI / AI agents.
• Experience with Server-Driven UI (SDUI) or similar server-driven architectures.
• Experience with ontology, entity-relationship modeling, or enterprise domain modeling.
• Experience with React / TypeScript.
• Experience working on a dedicated AI or platform engineering team.
• Experience building enterprise AI platforms, frameworks, reusable components, or shared services.
• Experience establishing AI development standards, governance, and best practices.
