We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Lead with strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Apache Kafka, and AWS to design, develop, and deliver scalable enterprise applications.
This is more of hands-on role here the successful candidate will spend a significant portion of their time designing solutions, writing high-quality code, reviewing implementations, and solving complex technical challenges.
The ideal candidate is passionate about software engineering, cloud-native development, and modern distributed systems, while providing technical guidance and influencing engineering best practices across the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build scalable Microservices and RESTful APIs following modern architectural principles.
- Develop event-driven applications leveraging Apache Kafka.
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and production-quality code.
- Participate in system design discussions and contribute to architecture decisions.
- Integrate applications with cloud services on AWS.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and engineering best practices.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automation, and DevOps initiatives.
- Mentor team members through technical guidance and knowledge sharing without direct people management responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in Java application development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Microservices.
- Extensive experience developing event-driven applications using Kafka.
- Experience building and deploying applications on AWS.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, system design, and software engineering best practices.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
