We have an opportunity available in our Lenexa, KS headquarters for an entry level structural engineer who is interested in building design. GBA offers the opportunity to work on a large variety of structures and building types from start to finish in a collaborative multi-disciplined team environment with room for career growth.
What Youll Do
- Perform structural calculations for building projects
- Prepare and/or direct others in preparing structural construction documents
- Manage all aspects of the structural design process
- Coordinate with architects and MEP engineers
- Review construction shop drawings and respond to contractor inquiries
- Opportunity for cross-training in structural bridge design, if desired
What You Bring
- BS/MS in Architectural or Civil Engineering with an emphasis in structural design
- EIT certification
- 04 years of experience
- Proficiency in Revit (required)
- Experience with AutoCAD (preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work on fast-paced projects
- Previous internship experience is a plus
