Were looking for a Civil Engineer to join our Civil/Site Development Group in Austin, Texas. This team provides site design and construction documents for a wide variety of commercial, industrial, municipal, and residential developmentsincluding mixed-use, office, retail, multi- and single-family residential, warehouse/distribution, medical, and recreational facilities.
What Youll Do
As a Civil Engineer, youll:
- Assist in the design and preparation of site engineering plans including site layouts, grading, storm drainage, water, utility, street and sanitary sewer design, and erosion control.
- Support coordination with project teams, utility providers, contractors, and permitting authorities.
- Perform design tasks under the direction of senior engineers.
- Prepare construction drawings and permit submittals.
- Assist with the collection and analysis of field data.
- Prepare and maintain technical reports.
What You Bring
- BS in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- 05 years of experience; prior internships in land/site development are a plus.
- Ability to work on fast-paced projects.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-HMS, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively both independently and on a team.
