We're looking for a Regional Construction Services Manager to join our team in Chesterfield, Missouri. This role is ideal for an experienced construction professional with a strong background in roadway, highway, and bridge inspection and administration. The ideal candidate will have 10 years of relevant experience and broad knowledge of construction materials and methods.
What You'll Do
As a Regional Construction Services Manager, you'll:
- Manage, schedule, and oversee construction inspection staff and projects.
- Read and interpret plans and specifications.
- Perform materials testing on soil, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt.
- Conduct construction observation to ensure compliance with contract documents.
- Prepare project documentation, pay applications, change orders, and perform general administrative duties.
What You Bring
- Experience as a lead construction observer on infrastructure projects.
- Experience with erosion and sediment control inspection preferred.
- Strong knowledge of industry construction standards and a network within the construction industry.
- Motivated with excellent organizational and computer documentation skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift/carry field equipment and samples.
- Proven reliability, independence, and strong work ethic.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Business development skills.
- Experience with MoDOT LPA projects and MoDOT documentation processes.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- MoDOT Technician Certification and/or IDOT Quality Management Certification preferred.
- Willingness to travel.
- Computer drafting skills beneficial.
- Experience with specialty construction markets helpful.
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass a physical and drug screening.
