Project SuperintendentLocation: ColoradoCompany: GBA BuildersAbout the RoleGBA Builders is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to serve as the primary on-site leader for construction projects across the U.S. In this role, you will oversee daily field operations, drive safety excellence, coordinate all on-site work, and ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality, schedule, and compliance. This position requires a proactive leader who takes full ownership of field execution and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.What You’ll DoLead all aspects of jobsite safety, ensuring every individual on or near the site is protected and safety protocols are fully upheld.Coordinate and manage daily field operations, jobsite logistics, and construction sequencing to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.Conduct quality control inspections on materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and codes.Collaborate with the Project Manager, designers, subcontractors, and owner representatives to resolve issues and maintain workflow.Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure full execution of contracted scopes.Schedule, coordinate, and document all required inspections with local jurisdictions and special inspectors.Maintain detailed, accurate daily logs, including progress updates and documentation on safety, quality, and schedule impacts.Lead daily huddles, weekly coordination meetings, and pre-installation meetings.Develop and distribute 3-week look-ahead schedules to all subcontractors.Manage project closeout, including punch lists, commissioning support, and turnover documentation.Perform other duties as assigned.What We’re Looking ForEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field and 8 years of relevant experience, OR an equivalent combination of education and on-the-job experience.OSHA-30 certification required.Technical Skills & AbilitiesStrong verbal and written communication skills; able to convey technical information clearly across diverse project teams.Experience leading pull-planning sessions and developing look-ahead schedules with scheduling software.Deep understanding of construction materials, methods, and quality standards.Ability to read and interpret complex drawings, one-line diagrams, charts, and specifications.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam.Demonstrated ability to stay calm under pressure and resolve conflicts respectfully and efficiently.Salary range is 120-140K, depending on experiencePhysical RequirementsAbility to stand or sit for extended periods.Lift up to 25 lbs as needed.Comfortable climbing ladders, scaffolds, and stairs.TravelFull-time travel to project sites across the U.S.Ability to return home every other weekend.BenefitsGBA Builders offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, accident, short- and long-term disability, hospital indemnity, legal coverage, 401(k), EAP, wellness programs, paid sick time, paid company holidays, a floating holiday, and flexible time off.
