Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and private spaces using industry-standard cleaning techniques and supplies
- Care for floors by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to ensure a pristine appearance
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and amenities to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction
- Handle laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms by sanitizing sinks, toilets, showers, and fixtures with attention to detail
- Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments—hotel experience is highly valued
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care and industrial cleaning methods
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and steam cleaners effectively
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality standards in cleanliness and presentation
- Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts
- Prior custodial or housekeeping management experience is a plus but not required
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning chemicals and procedures
