What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse/RN - 24 Hours/Nights - Medical/Telemetry Unit - Lyman 1 position at Gaylord Hospital?
Qualifications:
- RN Diploma or ASN required
- BSN or Bachelor's degree in a healthcare related field preferred
- Current CT RN license required
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS certification required
WORK SCHEDULE: 24 hours, nights (11:15 pm-7:15 am), including every other weekend and rotating holidays
Gaylord nursing units offer a variety of skills such as:
Milne Units: Step down/progressive care unit of level of care includes:
- Continuous telemetry monitoring
- Ventilator support and weaning
- LVAD patient population
- Heart Transplant population
Lyman 1 & Hooker 1: Medical Units offer skills such as:
- Stroke
- Complex wounds
- Telemetry
- Pulmonary care
Lyman 2 & Hooker 2: Specialty Units are CARF Accredited with a focused patient population:
- Traumatic Brain Injury
- Stroke
- Spinal cord Injury
