Job Summary:
The Human Resources Operations Generalist is responsible for supporting HR functions, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and enhancing operational efficiency within the HR department. This role is crucial in improving HR employee life cycle processes: Talent Acquisition, employee relations, compliance, HRIS maintenance, performance management, and organizational development.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Compliance
Policy Compliance: Administer and support HR policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and hospital regulations. Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
Internal HR Compliance: Owner of labor laws and hospital policies, conducting audits and recommending updates as needed.
2. Systems - Operations Structure
Talent Acquisition : Design, assist, and support recruitment and onboarding processes, including job postings, candidate screenings, offer letters, orientation programs, and post-NEO acclimation.
UKG: Maintain HRIS data integrity via audits and generate reports to support decision-making.
Performance Management: With direction, drive Gaylord's performance management process, including tracking performance evaluations and coaching managers on best practices.
3. Organizational Development
Training: Align with the Center of Education, providing guidance and support to implement non-clinical training programs to enhance employee skills, engagement, and leadership capabilities.
Career Development: Participate in talent review sessions focusing on post-talent review follow-ups. This includes but is not limited to ownership in conjunction with managers for succession planning - identifying internal opportunities for high-potential employees and coordinating development plans. Conversely, work with managers to assess, coach, and counsel underperforming employees.
Leadership Development : Track and own leadership development programs (in conjunction with the Center of Education). This includes managing identified High Potentials and
4. Employee Life Cycle
Employee Engagement: Foster positive employee engagement initiatives, including focus groups, stay interviews, diversity and inclusion efforts. The focus is on retention and recruitment efforts by implementing external best practices.
HR Team Centric: Work with the HR Team on HR projects and initiatives related to people, processes, and policy.
Gaylord Focus: Collaborate with various departments across Gaylord to enhance HR service delivery.

Qualifications :
5-7 years of experience in human resources operations, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Strong knowledge of HR principles, performance management, organizational development, employee lifecycle, labor laws, and best practices.
Experience with HRIS systems (UKG experience is a plus).
A bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is required. HR Certification is a plus.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
