Scope of Work: The Survey Technician is responsible for accurately and timely performing electrical layout and as-built survey points in the field as directed.

Responsibilities:
  • Interpret engineered drawings.
  • Operate Topcon/GPS and Total Station data collectors with minimal supervision.
  • Collect as-built data.
  • Report to assigned job site locations punctually as directed.
  • Understand and comply with company and job safety requirements.
  • Work outdoors and on construction sites in all weather conditions.
  • Provide work control lines and elevations necessary for accurate measurement and correct installation of materials by field staff.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Education: High school graduate, holder of G.E.D., or equivalent studies/experience.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum one year of land survey and/or construction experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in survey data collection, including setting up and operating GPS receivers and robotic total stations.
  • Demonstrated ability to read construction plans and specifications.
  • Experience with AutoCAD / Revit preferred.
  • Strong mathematical background and ability to perform calculations associated with surveying.
  • Strong administrative, computer (Word & Excel), and communication skills.
