What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operator / CLT Campus position at Gaylor Electric?
Scope of Work: The Operator will perform equipment operation, installations, alterations, additions, and/or repairs of electrical systems, conductors, and associated materials and equipment within the electrical industry.
Responsibilities:
- Assist by performing assigned tasks.
- Operate equipment such as line trucks, bucket trucks, track trenchers, derricks, and backhoes.
- Handle materials under the direct supervision of an assigned journeyperson.
- Maintain all materials, tools, and equipment in a safe and orderly fashion.
- Keep the work area clean at all times.
- Demonstrate safe work habits and proper care for tools and equipment.
Minimum Requirements:
- License Requirements:
- Class ‘A’ CDL.
- Must be deemed insurable by the company’s insurance carrier.
- Education:
- High school graduate, holder of G.E.D., or equivalent studies/experience.
- Experience:
- Two or more years of construction equipment operation experience.
