10-Week AI Engineering Fellowship | Austin, TX
Overview
The Gauntlet Fellowship is a ten week program for experienced engineers who want to spend full time building with AI. Fellows ship code to production every week, learn from active engineers, and hiring partners cover the cost so participants do not pay to attend.
Graduates receive $200,000 job offers from our hiring partners.
The program runs 10 weeks: the first 3 weeks are remote, followed by 7 weeks in Austin, Texas. Fellows commit 80–100 hours per week to building AI-first applications under real-world pressure.
Responsibilities
- Ship weekly production-grade projects on strict deadlines
- Master AI-first workflows (Cursor, Claude Code, LangChain, multi-agent systems, etc.)
- Collaborate and compete with top 2% engineering talent
- Present work directly to CTOs, Founders, and hiring partners
Requirements
- Eligible to work in the US
- 3 years of technical engineering experience (or equivalent skill)
- Top-percentile cognitive and technical ability
- Extreme work ethic and grit (1,000 hours in 10 weeks)
- Willingness to relocate to Austin for the on-site phase
