HVAC Service Technician Apprentice

Gault Heating & Cooling is seeking motivated candidates for our HVAC Apprenticeship Program. This program is designed for individuals who want to learn the trade through a combination of field experience, ride-along training with experienced technicians, and classroom-style training modules.

As an apprentice, you’ll gain real-world experience working alongside skilled technicians while developing the technical knowledge needed to build a long-term career in HVAC. The ideal candidate is energetic, dependable, mechanically inclined, and eager to learn. With the right attitude and performance, advancement opportunities may be available in as little as six months.

What You'll Do

• Ride along with experienced technicians to observe and assist with HVAC service, maintenance, and installations
• Perform hands-on tasks in the field while learning proper procedures and best practices
• Assist technicians with tools, equipment setup, and job-site preparation
• Deliver parts and materials to technicians when needed
• Help maintain organization of tools, trucks, and job sites
• Complete structured training modules to build technical knowledge of HVAC systems
• Participate in classroom-style and hands-on training sessions
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Maintain a clean, professional, and safe work environment
• Demonstrate and uphold the company’s core values

What We're Looking For

1. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn a skilled trade
2. Mechanical aptitude and interest in hands-on work
3. Clean driving record
4. Ability to lift 75 pounds
5. Ability to stand, bend, and work in various conditions throughout the day
6. Flexibility to work varied schedules when needed

Must be 21 years of age or older with at least 3 years of licensed driving experience
