Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Highline Import Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in European vehicle repair and diagnostics, with specific experience on BMW vehicles and other luxury import brands. This role involves working with advanced vehicle technologies including ADAS, precision electrical systems, drivetrains, and performance suspensions. The Highline Import Technician plays a critical role in maintaining the quality, reliability, and performance our customers expect from a premium brand.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on BMW and other highline import vehicles.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, and software-related issues using OEM diagnostic equipment.
- Conduct precision maintenance services including oil changes, brake repairs, tire services, and fluid exchanges.
- Repair and replace major components such as engines, transmissions, and suspension systems to factory standards.
- Perform ADAS calibrations, coding, and software updates as required by manufacturer guidelines.
- Execute alignments, wheel balancing, and chassis adjustments to ensure optimal performance and ride quality.
- Interpret BMW technical bulletins, repair manuals, and wiring schematics to ensure accurate and efficient diagnosis.
- Maintain clear and complete service documentation for all work performed.
- Ensure all repairs meet or exceed manufacturer and dealership quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and management to ensure customer satisfaction and timely repair completion.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician, preferably with BMW or other European import brands (Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, etc.).
- Certification or factory training from BMW STEP program or similar manufacturer training preferred.
- Strong diagnostic skills with proficiency in OEM and aftermarket scan tools.
- Solid understanding of high-voltage, hybrid, and advanced electronic systems.
- Ability to interpret technical data and perform accurate repairs with minimal supervision.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
