Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Welder role located in Waycross, GA. The Welder will be responsible for performing various welding techniques, including Arc, TIG, and MIG welding, on different materials. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting and repairing railcars or tank containers, understanding safety protocols, and maintaining welding equipment.
Qualifications
- Skills in Arc Welding, TIG Welding, and MIG Welding
- Proficiency in general Welding techniques and handling various Materials
- Understanding of safety protocols and procedures related to welding
- Attention to detail and the ability to inspect and repair welding on railcars and tank containers
- Experience in maintaining and troubleshooting welding equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in welding is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Experience in the railcar or tank container industry is beneficial
