Operations Support & Logistics
- Act as interim manager when needed; ensure work orders and field reports are accurate and timely.
- Oversee material shipment to domestic and international sites; develop metrics to reduce downtime.
Locomotive Maintenance
- Lead and perform advanced mechanical and electrical repairs on locomotives (EMD engines, brake systems, compressors, turbos, etc.).
- Supervise crews and conduct inspections to meet regulatory and customer standards.
- Safely operate repair tools and read blueprints and schematics.
Workforce Leadership
- Mentor technicians; foster a respectful, inclusive culture.
- Support SQDC practices for continuous improvement and root-cause problem-solving.
Compliance & Customer Relations
- Maintain certifications and ensure regulatory and customer site requirements are met.
- Build strong internal and external relationships to align MRU operations with business goals.
Additional Duties
- Assist with vehicle and facility upkeep, inventory, and general maintenance as needed.
- Strong hands-on experience with locomotive repairs.
- Supervisory background in technical or industrial settings.
- Knowledge of FRA, DOT regulations, and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Certifications (TWIC, MSHA, ISNET) preferred or attainable.

Salary : $78,800 - $92,000
