What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Laborer position at GatorStep LLC?
GatorStep has an immediate opening for Sheet Lamination Technicians
• Check sheet request lists for sheets needed, stock common colors if list complete
• Layer Sheets: Spread glue evenly onto sheets and press them as instructed.
• Texture Sheets: Run layered sheets through scraper machine, clean sheets with air gun
• PSA Sheets: Prime and run sheets through heated pinch roller, test sheets for good bond
• Keep sheet stacks organized
• Keep floor clean around glue areas; remove debris, sweep, run floor cleaner as needed
• Always keep lids closed on glue barrels except when filling buckets; open new glue barrels as needed
• Clean area around scraper as needed
• Clean glue station (table, buckets, cups, rollers, etc.) at end of shift and as needed
• Replace cardboard as needed, discard old sheets
• Empty garbage cans in your gluing area as needed
• Other tasks and assignments at management’s discretion
Physical Activities: Frequent light, medium heavy lifting. Repetitive motions.
Other Requirements: Attention to detail, ability to read and understand sales orders, purchase orders, sheet requests and management direction.
