Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist, Ins. Billing, Back CA / certified or experience Chiropractic Assistant to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Greet patients warmly upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, verification and insurance billing managment, and patient progress notes.
- Schedule appointments accurately utilizing medical scheduling software and coordinate follow-up visits
- Verify insurance coverage, process medical billing, and perform collections in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Assist chiropractors with clinical tasks including documentation review, care plan updates, and basic patient assessments
- Maintain accurate medical records, ensure proper filing of documents, and review clinical documentation for completeness and accuracy
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing excellent patient service and appointment reminders
- Handle PT equipment in clinic with supervision.
- Experienced CA, Certified CA, MA, & LMT - Massage therapist are all welcome.
Experience
- Prior clinic experience in a medical or chiropractic setting is required.
- Demonstrated proficiency in EMR/EHR systems.
- Strong knowledge of medical coding including CPT (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD-9/10 (International Classification of Diseases), and ICD coding practices for accurate documentation and billing
- Experience with medical billing, insurance claims processing (including Medicare), and health information management
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively
- Excellent computer skills with familiarity in Microsoft Office Suite for administrative support tasks
- Knowledge of healthcare privacy policies such as HIPAA to ensure confidentiality of patient information
