- Perform service, diagnostics, and repairs on gas and diesel engines
- Conduct maintenance and repair of heavy and small trucks
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair hydraulic systems, air brakes, and drivetrains
- Maintain and repair vehicle A/C systems, electrical systems, and pneumatics
- Review mechanical issues and schedule timely repairs
- Accurately complete work orders, part orders, and service reports
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of service truck and tools
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
- Travel as needed to job sites for field repairs
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor
- Minimum of 5 years of proven diesel mechanic experience
- Own full set of tools (excluding specialty equipment)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Willingness to travel occasionally out of town
- CDL License (preferred)
- Certifications a plus:
- OSHA
- Forklift
- ASE
- Regular use of hands, hearing, and communication
- Frequent reaching, standing, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and crawling
- Frequently lift up to 25 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs
- Work outdoors in hot, humid, cold, or wet conditions throughout the shift
- Hardworking, honest, and dependable attitude
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow instructions, prioritize, and meet deadlines
- Team-oriented with a commitment to safety and quality

Salary : $15,000 - $350,000
