Overview
Gator Recovery is seeking a dependable and motivated Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, customer-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. As a Tow Truck Driver, you will respond to service calls, transport vehicles safely, and represent Gator Recovery with professionalism. Full time on call drivers needed, pay is commision based.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to dispatch calls for towing and roadside assistance
- Operate flatbed and/or wheel-lift tow trucks safely
- Secure and transport vehicles without causing damage
- Provide excellent customer service in high-stress situations
- Perform basic maintenance and daily inspections of assigned truck
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Follow all local, state, and federal safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required)
- Clean driving record
- Prior towing or commercial driving experience is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and on-call shifts
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work outdoors in various conditions
Pay: $1.00 - $28.14 per hour
