We are a family restaurant who caters to the sports enthusiast. Gator's Dockside is entrenched in the community and is very involved with local schools, youth sports, and all other community activities.
Gator’s Dockside Windermere is looking for an enthusiastic bartender to provide an excellent guest drinking experience. A bartender is responsible for providing a positive and friendly guest experience by interacting with patrons while satisfying their beverage needs. An understanding of mixing beverages using an extensive range of ingredients including liquor, bitters, soda, water, sugar, and fruits is an integral part of the job. Taking beverage orders from customers and wait staff and serving drinks as requested, paying extreme attention to detail is vitally important to the success of the restaurant.
Bartender Responsibilities:
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant guests
- Interact with customers, take orders, and serve drinks
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Check guests' identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Bartender Requirements:
- Proven working experience as a bartender
- Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
- Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
- A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with bussers, cooks, and other staff members
- Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised
- Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system
