Job Overview
Gator Roofing & Restoration is seeking a sharp, detail-oriented Estimator to join our growing team serving Eastern Ohio, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania. In this role, you’ll be the first impression we make on homeowners and commercial clients — your accuracy and professionalism directly impact our ability to win jobs and deliver on our reputation for quality.
Duties
- Conduct on-site roof inspections and measurements to develop accurate, competitive estimates
- Prepare detailed proposals including labor, materials, tear-off, and disposal costs
- Work directly with homeowners, property managers, and insurance adjusters on storm damage and restoration claims
- Collaborate with project managers and suppliers to source materials and negotiate pricing
- Follow up on open estimates and assist in closing sales
- Document job conditions with photos and notes for the production team
- Monitor job costs against estimates to improve future accuracy
Qualifications
- Experience in roofing, construction, or a related trade preferred
- Familiarity with insurance claims and supplements a strong plus
- Comfortable on rooftops and able to perform physical inspections
- Strong communication skills — you’ll be face-to-face with customers daily
- Proficient in basic computer/mobile tools for estimates and documentation
- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to manage a flexible schedule
Pay: $36,687.87 - $48,269.27 per year
