What are the responsibilities and job description for the Graphic Designer position at Gator Garb Promotions?
Due to company growth, we are looking at adding another Artist to our Design Team.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys designing across a wide range of products—from apparel and hard goods to banners, signage, and promotional materials. Our preferred candidate should have experience understanding and following brand standards and product templates.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Design graphics for apparel (t-shirts, hoodies, uniforms, etc.)
- Create artwork for hard goods such as drinkware, accessories, and promotional items
- Develop banners, signage, and large-format graphics
- Prepare print-ready files and ensure production accuracy
- Collaborate with sales and production teams to meet client needs and deadlines
- Maintain brand consistency across all designs
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Communicating with clients and making revisions based on their feedback
- Maintain awareness of current industry trends
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
- 2-4 years of experience in graphic design
- Proven experience in graphic design (portfolio required)
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Strong understanding of print production processes and file setup
- Ability to design for various mediums (screen print, embroidery, digital print, etc.)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to take direction and work independently
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Knowledge in a promotional product industry is preferred but not required
