In this role, you'll operate a 26-30 ft box truck both manually and while monitoring autonomous driving systems, assist with on-road testing, and maintain awareness of surrounding vehicles and road conditions. Prioritizing safety for all road users, you'll play a crucial role throughout the process. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience driving box trucks and a valid Driver's License with no major infractions. As an Autonomous Vehicle Test Driver (non-CDL), you'll:Operate a 26-30 ft box truck both manually and while monitoring autonomous driving systems.Assist with testing operations, including collecting data for the engineering team.Manage road interactions to help maintain a controlled testing environment.Stay highly aware of surrounding conditions, adapting as needed.Prioritize safety for all road users throughout the process.Maintain clear and effective communication with the team, following established protocols.Exercise strong situational awareness to proactively identify and address potential challenges.
