About the Role

We are seeking a driven and experienced Sous Chef to support kitchen operations across two of Jackson Hole’s most recognized concepts, Gather and Palate. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside a strong leadership team, contribute to multiple menus, and play a key role in executing high-level service and large-scale events.

This position is ideal for a chef who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and is ready to take the next step in their culinary career.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily kitchen operations across both locations
  • Lead and manage kitchen teams during service, ensuring consistency and execution
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and cleanliness
  • Assist with ordering, inventory, and cost control
  • Train, mentor, and develop line cooks and prep staff
  • Collaborate with leadership on menu development and seasonal updates
  • Ensure all health, safety, and sanitation standards are consistently followed
  • Execute high-volume services, including private events, weddings, and group dining

 

Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience in a Sous Chef or senior line cook role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work across multiple concepts and adapt to different kitchen environments
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Experience with high-volume service and events preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Passion for hospitality and team development
