What you’ll do

• Greet guests with a warm smile and assist them in seating arrangements to create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Manage reservations and walk-in guests efficiently to optimize seating flow.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and needs promptly.
• Collaborate with the serving staff to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
• Utilize OpenTable system
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area, ensuring a pleasant environment for guests.
• Handle phone calls with professionalism, managing reservations and guest relations effectively.
• Support the team during busy periods by assisting with food service and guest services as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a host/host or in a similar role within the food service or hospitality industry is preferred.
• Strong communication skills that foster positive interactions with guests and team members alike.
• A background in restaurant or hotel experience that showcases your ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent phone etiquette to handle inquiries and reservations professionally.
• A commitment to providing outstanding guest relations that enhance the overall dining experience.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being proactive in supporting various tasks as needed.
