Position Overview:
The National Integrated Ballistics Information Network (NIBIN) Quality Control Technician will support the NIBIN National Correlation and Training Center (NNCTC) and its NIBIN partner sites. This position will provide support and oversight related to data entry, correlations, leads, quality and reporting of the NIBIN Program. This position will report to the Quality Manager or their designee.
Responsibilities:
- Perform independent quality reviews of work completed by the NNCTC staff and its partnering sites.
- Assist management with the coordination and administration of activities required to implement and maintain quality throughout the NNCTC and its partnering sites, to include compliance with specific International Standards.
- Perform image correlation reviews.
- Assist with the oversight of processes and procedures.
- Assist in implementation, review and control of quality control programs.
- Assist in the preparation, review and control of training manuals.
- Assist in the preparation, review and control of quality guidelines.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must be able to maintain an agency approved security clearance.
- Minimum of five months experience completing independent casework.
- Must have excellent customer relations skills and the technical capability to effectively communicate with all levels of management, team members and partnering sites.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university, or possession of an equivalent combination of formal education, work experience and on the job training is preferred.
