Duties

- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, poaching stations, braising pots, and food processors safely and efficiently.
- Execute food preparation tasks including grilling, braising, poaching, and other cooking techniques to produce high-volume meals.
- Follow food safety management protocols by sanitizing workstations regularly, practicing proper food handling procedures, and ensuring compliance with health regulations.
- Assist with menu planning by suggesting seasonal or innovative dishes that align with dietary guidelines and customer preferences.
- Support dietary department needs by preparing specialized meals for dietary restrictions or health considerations.
- Maintain cleanliness standards in the kitchen through diligent sanitizing procedures and organized storage of ingredients and supplies.
- Collaborate with team members during catering events or high-volume production periods to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
Skills
- Proven experience in food industry settings such as restaurants, catering services, or fine dining establishments with a focus on high-volume production.
