GATEWAY UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT CLASSIFIED VACANCY: Clerk Typist I/Paraprofessional I - Buckeye School of the Arts *Position will be transferred to River Ridge Elementary School starting the 2026-2027 school year* (8.00 hrs/day) Shift Schedule: 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. (1/2 hour unpaid lunch break) SALARY: $18.88 - $25.38 per/hr - Range D Clerk Typist I (4.00 hrs/day) $18.05 - $24.28 per/hr - Range A Paraprofessional I (4.00 hrs/day) (Includes vacation factor) 182 workdays (14 District paid holidays) Includes contribution to a retirement system and access to health, dental, and vision benefits with District contribution. REQUIREMENTS: * Applicant must meet the requirements of the No Child Left Behind Act. * Applicant must possess an AA Degree (or) have 48 semester units of college coursework (or) have passed the Paraprofessional Exam to qualify. **Proof of meeting these requirements must be attached to application. - Pass the General Clerical Exam at the 50th percentile or above. (Exam is administered by the District). - Type 45 net words per minute on a 5-minute timed writing. (No on-line certificates accepted. Typing certificate must be submitted with application and may not be over one year old). Applications must be submitted through the Edjoin website.
